Long Bayonets 1796–1930
A book about long bayonets of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.
My aim was both to introduce this fascinating hobby to beginning collectors and to provide new information even for advanced enthusiasts. In some places I went into more detail — for example about the variants of a specific type, its gradual development, the differences between similar models, or the further use of the bayonet as a short sword or knife.
The book contains 200 colour pages with detailed photographs of the described bayonets (approximately 2,540 photographs) and many additional illustrations. For each bayonet, the dimensions and weight are given, and I also placed emphasis on the markings.
Sewn binding, hard cover, A4 format, 300 pages on high-quality coated paper.
